The Tears That Never Came

Pain is probably one of the most peculiar things I've encountered in my life. It can hurt you, kill you, teach you, make you feel better, or do absolutley nothing. But no matter what we tell our selves, pain is always in our hearts and around us. There's no getting rid of it. Whether it be physical or emotinal.
But what I find most intriguing about pain, is that it makes us stronger. Which is weird, because it hurts us, makes us cry, and makes us do idiotic things like cutting ourselves, hurting ourselves, or going absolutley crazy. But then the next time you face pain, you're stronger. Because you know the outcome, and what's going to happen after. You know that the hurt won't hurt as much in a while. And you won't hurt yourself or do silly things.
And the next time, when your heart has broken, you'll feel little pain.

And so, I'm thankful. Because my experiences with pain, got me through what SHOULD have been a hard time in my life.

But really, it was a time where the tears never came. I smiled, and thanked pain like an old friend.
